THE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE FOR THE ORDERLY CONDUCT OF RACING EVENTS AND TO ESTABLISH MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCH EVENTS. THESE RULES SHALL GOVERN THE CONDITION OF SPEEDWAY EVENTS AND, BY PARTICIPATING IN THESE EVENTS, ALL RACEWAY COMPETITORS ARE DEEMED TO HAVE COMPLIED WITH THESE RULES.
THEY ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE LEAGUE AND THE EVENTS HELD.

All drivers are expected to read the following rules that were provided to you upon acceptance for the 2020 season. It is your duty to know and understand these rules, if clarification is needed on a certain rule you may get with the Competition Director Bradley Wilson. The National Dirt Sim Assn. reserves the right to change and/or modify these rules at any time, without notice. The Race Director will make all final decisions during a race and his/her decision will be final. No exceptions!

GENERAL RULES
-League Admins shall have responsibility for rules and regulation enforcement at NDSA weekly sanctioned events. At the discretion of the track official(s) in charge, any competitor may be disqualified for rule violations, abusive language or hazardous actions.
-No driver shall participate in any fighting, or take part or participate in any action or activity considered detrimental to racing. Fighting in the server may land you removed from racing that night and a minimum of one-year suspension from the league.
No driver or crew member shall subject admins to abuse or improper language.
-Drivers are responsible for the conduct and actions of their crew members. Unsportsmanlike conduct by drivers, owners, and/or pit crews shall be grounds for disqualification and/or punitive action.
-Any driver or race car under suspension may not participate in any NDSA events.
-The race director will make all final decisions during a race and his/her decision will be final. No exceptions!
-NDSA the right to change and/or modify these rules at any time, without notice.
-Racing over aggressively, continuously being in a position in which you are wrecking yourself and other drivers, and putting yourself in bad positions by poor judgment will not be tolerated. ( Rough driving may, at the discretion of the track officials, result in suspension based on the severity of the incident .)

RACING RULES AND GUIDELINES
-During green flag on-track activities, verbal communication and TEXT CHATTER from driver to driver and SPOTTERS TO OTHER DRIVERS OUTSIDE OF THEIR OWN TEAM will be kept to a minimum with the exception of quick verbal courtesies such as “go high” or “25 pitting”. Any excessive chatter by drivers or THEIR SPOTTERS will result in a warning for the first offense, followed by being muted for the 2nd, and a black flag for any other offense afterward BEING GIVEN TO THE DRIVER OF THAT SPOTTER. Also, the use of profanity must be kept to a minimum and ANY profanity directed towards another driver will not be tolerated. Any offender (SPOTTER AND DRIVER) will be removed immediately from the race.

STARTS AND RESTARTS
-All starts and restarts will be off turn four. On the initial start, the front row needs to be even when they start. Polesitter sets the pace and he will start the race. It's the outside driver's responsibility to stay up with the inside pole sitter and start the race with him. Maintain a good, even and steady pace. No speeding up and slowing down by the pole sitter.   If you stop or spin out on the initial start by yourself, you will go to the tail.
-We will give you two attempts on a double-file restart. The third attempt will be a single file.
-We use the Delaware X Double File system for restarts in all races with the leader alone on the front row and the rest of the field lined up behind the leader side by side. 2nd place car gets to decide if they want to start on the inside or outside row. 2nd & 3rd place cars must stay behind the leader and not beside his rear quarter panel. 4th position will always be on the inside row. Restarts will start at the exit of turn 4 and on the leader.
-We DO NOT race back to the yellow. After crossing the start/finish line, all cars must get nose to tail. Do not argue about your position.  iRacing sets up the running order and will always be the final say.  Once the caution flag is displayed immediately catch up with the driver that is in front of you.  All cars are to get in a single file. Do not drive side by side. Any driver not getting in line and caught up to the field before one lap of caution is complete will be sent to the rear of the field. Any driver not allowing another driver to get inline will be sent to the rear of the field. Any driver having to be told more than once to get inline will receive the black flag and sent to the pits.
Single Car Incidents
-Two solo spins in the same race will result in you no longer scored for that race and must leave the track. You will still receive any points for your finishing position, at the last scored lap, before your spin.
Do not stop on the track to force a yellow. Doing so will count as a solo spin and you will be placed tailback.
-If your car is severely damaged and/or smoking then you need to get to pit road immediately. If you do not make it to pit road you will be subject to being black flagged. (UNLESS ENDING UNDER CAUTION).  If your car is in a position where it is disabled (car out of fuel, stuck in the grass, etc.) then you must call for a tow truck immediately.  No race car is to receive assistance after the white flag is displayed and all finishes must be made under the car's own power or momentum.

WAVE AROUND PROCEDURES
-WE DO NOT GIVE OUT WAVE AROUNDs
RETALIATION
-Any driver hitting another driver's car under non-racing circumstances, at any time, for any reason, will be suspended with no points and a minimum of two weeks, and up to a maximum lifetime, suspension.
CHECKERED FLAG END OF RACE
-When the checkered flag is shown and the race is over the field is expected to return to pit road mannerly and accordingly except for the top 3 finishing drivers. The top 3 must proceed on to the front stretch where the winner may celebrate the win while the other two cars await interviews
